Vinicius Junior angered Valencia by testifying in court

Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior has angered Valencia with his testimony in the racism case against him. On March 21, at the "Mestailla" stadium, the championship match between Valencia and the "whites" from the capital was briefly interrupted because of racist chants and monkey sounds directed at the dark-skinned football player. Later, the police identified and detained for this act three housewives fans aged 18 to 23. Valencia banned them from entering the stadium for life.

At the same time, however, a case was started, which is being conducted by the court in Valencia. In that regard today, for about an hour, Vinnie Junior gave evidence via video conference from Madrid. Already on the field, the Brazilian pointed to at least one of the men in question, but added that the insults to him did not come from just the three people, but from many more. Separately, he was insulted in front of the stadium.

Interestingly, Vinnie Jr. was asked by the referee if he generally had a tendency to deliberately provoke opposing fans. He replied that he sometimes did it because the backlash helped him play better. The court called as a witness the teammate of the attacker in Real and the national team of Brazil - Eder Militao. He will testify at the end of November at the next hearing.

Hours later, Valencia reacted angrily and called on Vinicius to distance himself from his words. According to the official opinion of the "bats", the club should not be associated with racism. According to Valencia, only three fans were the authors of the racist chants. Otherwise, Valencia has already served the punishment imposed by La Liga for what happened - a 27,000 euro fine and the closure of one of the sectors of "Mestailla" for three matches.
