Wenger is confident Arsenal will challenge for the title again

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger talks about the prospects ahead of the Londoners in the 2023/24 season. "I feel that Mikel Arteta is doing well, he is making the right decisions and has an organized team that can fight for the championship. We were fighting for the top spot in the last championship and now we can raise the bar. The last campaign with eight rounds to go until the end, I felt we were going to do it. Now we have strengthened the line-up well by investing a lot of money.

We have all the necessary prerequisites to fight for the title," said Wenger to Arsenal's press office. The French specialist coached the club from North London from 1996 to 2018. Under his leadership, the "gunners" became champions of England three times and seven times won the Football Association Cup. Arsenal last won the Premier League title in 2004. At the end of the 2022/23 season, the Gunners finished second in the final standings with an asset of 84 points, while Manchester City became champions.
